In the long green bar near the top of the screen, look for the word "Login" and click on it. You'll see a light green box appear where you can enter your username and password.
When you register online as a new member, you are given the opportunity to create your own username and password for the DDNA website. When you want to access your membership benefits on the website, you click on "Login" at the right-hand side of the green bar at the top of the screen, then you enter the username and password that you selected. We recommend that you write your username and password down, in case you forget them. Some members write them on the back of their membership cards.
If you registered for membership by mail, you can create your username and password once you receive your membership packet from DDNA. The packet contains your membership card with your membership number. Go to the Need Information page and fill in your name and membership number. Once your information is verified, follow the instructions to create your username and password.
Your membership expiration date is on your membership card. You can also find your membership expiration date at any time on the DDNA website. Just login with your username and password, and then view your profile. We make it easy to renew online by putting a "Renew membership" button right on your profile. And because we know that the minds of I/DD nurses are busy juggling a million details, we send a renewal reminder to your preferred email address at 3 months, 2 months, and 1 month before your membership expiration. If you don't receive an email reminder from us, please call us so we can check your preferred email address for accuracy.
DDNA is an individual membership association, which is currently supported almost entirely by membership dues. In certain circumstances, e.g., when a facility/agency/state would like to purchase membership for a group of 25 people of more, DDNA's Board of Directors will consider a discounted membership rate for the first year of each nurse's membership.
To get a username and password for the national DDNA website, you must become a member of national DDNA. DDNA has many chapters/networks throughout the United States. Membership in a local network or chapter is separate and apart from membership in national DDNA.
