What's next for DDNA members? What new features are we adding to the website?
- Member-only access to Online Resources in DD Nursing, with links to valuable information all categorized and located in one place. Makes finding information about developmental disabilities online quick and easy. Members are encouraged to submit useful links to DDNA.
- Member-only access to "Member-to-Member" Expert Consultation. DDNA's members have a wealth of information about developmental disabilities nursing. Do you have expertise in a particular area of DD nursing? Or do you have a question and want to talk with another nurse who has expertise in that area? When you complete your Member Information Form, you are asked to indicate areas in which you have expertise. Then, you may choose "I would be willing to answer other members' questions about these topic areas." Members searching for information about a topic will receive a list of other members willing to share their expertise on that topic. Select from the list of experts and contact them privately through the website.
- Member Only - free advertising in our classified section.
Does your Network need quick membership brochures for the next meeting?
Do you know someone who would like more information on DDNA, but doesn't have easy access to the Internet? We also provide information about joining DDNA, including a registration form, in an attractive brochure. Click here for a PDF of the brochure. The brochures need to be printed using a paper size of 8 1/2 by 14 inches (legal size). You may take the file to your local print shop or office supply store, where they can be inexpensively printed via a two color (black and green) process that professional printers understand. The brochures may also be printed on a printer connected to a home computer - just set the printer specifications to print to the edge of the paper and select the "do not scale" option in the print settings. Be sure to use both sides of the paper.
