Responsibilities of the Treasurer: DDNA Bylaws
Treasurer shall perform the duties of the financial officer of the association, including, but not limited to, payment of expenses, preparation of financial reports, custodial care of the association checking account(s), and will report directly to the DDNA Board of Directors. In addition, the Treasurer shall perform duties as assigned. In addition to the duties outlined above, each elected officer shall assume responsibility for the tasks and assignments outlined in the Operational Guidelines for the Board of Directors for his/her respective office.
Responsibilities of the Treasurer: DDNA Operational Guidelines for the Board of Directors
As stated previously, all Board members must assume and carry out all general Board responsibilities. The Treasurer also has the following additional responsibilities, which are specific to this position:
a. Maintain DDNA's financial information, including: Checking and Money Market account balances and a record/accounting of utilization of all DDNA funds.
b. Maintain and ensure security of DDNA checking account checkbook.
c. Process all payables for the association.
d. Provide financial reports to the Board and general membership.
e. Quarterly Treasurer report to the Board of Directors
f. Annual Financial statement to membership.
g. Other tasks/duties as assigned by the President.
