Expanding throughout New Jersey, AdvoServ is seeking caring Nurse Case Managers for residential and day programs in Hewitt, Ringwood and West Milford. These programs assist adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and behavior challenges. Our Nurse Case Managers help to ensure a safe, supportive environment by coordinating medical care, educating staff, communicating information to providers and family members, and providing direct assistance to our residents.

The preferred candidate will maintain an active NJ RN or NJ LPN license without discipline against license or privilege to practice, have experience working with children, adolescents and/or adults with severe behavior challenges, possess a valid active driver’s license without any major violations within the past three years and successfully complete AdvoServ’s pre-employment screening process.

The selected candidate must have a current license in the State of Illinois as a Registered Nurse and at least 5 years experience working with people with disabilities with a strong commitment to their civil rights. The position involves working collaboratively with other clinical staff and attorneys in monitoring facilities, sites and reviewing clinical and other records and providing advocacy. Local and overnight travel and a valid driver’s license are required.

The Care Manager works in conjunction with the medical team (primary care physicians and psychiatrists, advanced practice nurses) and supervises Care Partners (community based support staff). Care Managers will be based in stationary clinics and may also serve a group of residential treatment centers in a mobile capacity. BSN required along with experience in psychiatric nursing with the chronically mentally ill. Experience with developmentally disabled clients strongly. We are seeking a RN wanted to provide Nursing Services to developmentally disabled individuals in private residential facilities. Position includes acting as liaison with other health care providers, arranging for and administering medications, assuring compliance with all Federal and State regulations. The position requires a self-starter, who can work a flexible schedule and function as a member of an interdisciplinary team. Preferred candidate will have experience in the field of developmental disabilities. Individual must be flexible and capable of working as part of a team. Excellent salary and benefits.
