Nurses Serving Individuals with Developmental Disabilities

Our mission is to explore and discuss current trends, review issues and concerns, share knowledge and find successful solutions through the networking of our membership. In this process we seek to be advocates for individuals with developmental disabilities by developing our expertise and maintaining high standards of nursing practice. Support your nursing specialty as you practice in Northern Illinois by becoming an active member of this organization. History is being made and our voices shall be heard!

Meetings

Our meetings consist of announcements of conferences and seminars, reports of agency happenings, updates on regulatory issues, job openings, and lots of networking! Meetings are always preceded by a Potluck supper. We truly enjoy the camaraderie of our fellow nurses and the opportunity to validate our profession and advance our industry.

Our meetings are held every other month (odd months) usually on the 1st Wednesday of that month. Meetings are usually held at Aspire, unless otherwise specified.
